Scarlet Macaw yelling

We have created an alert system to notify people when there is a parrot (or multiple parrots) in need of emergency help. This could involve taking in the bird(s) temporarily, taking in the bird(s) permanently, or aiding in transportation to a veterinary facility, rescue organization, sanctuary, or new caretaker's location. It could involve a bird who has escaped, or is lost or stolen. We are working to build a strong foundation of people willing to step in and help when it is needed, and this will get the word out very quickly.

We invite you to sign up to receive the alerts via text (SMS). At this time the system only covers the Pacific Northwest. We will only send you messages about situations that need a rapid and caring response and we will not share your contact information with anyone.

If you have an emergency situation or know of a situation that needs our help, send us an email with the details and we will get the word out and do what we can to find a solution.
